"Ball of Fire" by Marta Francis“Great Ball of Fire,” by SJVWS member and Vice President Marta Francis, won 1st Place in the Festival of Banners 2018 contest, presented by the South Bend Museum of Art in association with Downtown South Bend and the City of South Bend. Now in its 12th year, the SMBA invites the community to design a banner that celebrates the arts. This year’s theme was “Out of this World.” Of the 450 entries, 80 were selected for display. The Banners are displayed from August 13 through the month of October, on Wayne, Jefferson and Michigan streets in downtown South Bend. Congratulations, Marta!
