Celebrating art and artists for over 50 years See where our artists are exhibiting Beginnings The St. Joe Valley Watercolor Society was founded in 1959 by Joseph Wrobel, an artist and teacher. The Society serves
the South Bend and Northern Indiana areas by showcasing the watercolor paintings of its members and by promoting
interest in watercolor painting in general.
Our Mission is to serve our members by providing an opportunity to meet in a friendly forum, to learn and experience new techniques, to exhibit in juried and non juried shows, and to give our artists an opportunity to sell their art work. We also provide our community with varied opportunities to view and purchase watercolor paintings by local arists.
